BLACK AND WHITE TOWN

A few months ago, after Doves cancelled their tour due to mental illness, Chris Kelly, a devoted fan initiated “Lost Covers“, a tribute album to Doves music made by fans of the band. Chris also wanted to raise money for Mental Health UK and raise awareness on mental health issues. Being Doves fans and wanting to help for a great cause, we contacted Chris about joining the project. We toyed around with “Almost Forgot Myself”, “Rise” and other Doves songs we love and finally decided on covering “Black and White Town“.

We’re proud to contribute to “Lost Covers” and we’re inviting you to rediscover Doves songs while doing good and getting to know new artists. A very special thank you to Chris Kelly and everyone who contributed to this project.

Black and White Town was recorded in Quebec city and Montréal. The single is produced by Mal Fantôme and Mathieu Dandurand.
